Kids love sweet and tasty snack. Moms would have to find a way to give the kids a healthy snack that would appeal to their kid’s palate as well. In my quest to give both, I came up with a super simple recipe that incorporated some of my veggie salad ingredients and their love for burrito. A great way to serve yummy snacks without the guilt.
Ingredients:
- Lettuce – romaine or green
- Mango – cut into strips
- Carrots – cut into strips
- Apples – cut into strips
- Cheese – grated (optional)
- Burrito wrap – small
Place the lettuce in the burrito wrap first. Add the mango, carrots, and apples. For those who are not avoiding dairy, you can add grated cheese for flavor. Wrap the vegetable and fruit with the burrito. Best served when chilled.
