…but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.

Matthew 18:6

We are responsible to our actions because there are other individuals watching us. What a great responsibility it is to be a parent. To act as examples of virtue or the other way around, causing our little ones to sin.

In the Bible, the word little ones are not just referring to the young but for those who are lost and vulnerable at the moment. Are we provoking these souls to sin? Are we provoking them to anger? Are we setting a bad example?

Jesus will hold us responsible to whosoever come across our path who are struggling and desperately needs help. How are we helping them? Are we even trying to bring them to light? Or are we trying to fuel more of their weakest moments to act out their desperation into sin?

Let us show our love to God and persevere to influence those lost to find HOPE.
