Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.”Philippians 4:8

From the gospel today about the 10 virgins, there were 5 wise ones and 5 foolish ones (Matthew 25:1-13). It’s worth noting the gospel reflection from the The Word Today TV. It talks about the five wise virgins that represented the 5 senses.

Are you using your 5 senses to glorify God? Do you silenced them from the loud voices of this world and stay God-centered?

How do you use your five senses? Do you just choose to indulge only in pleasures? Or do you use your five senses to glorify Jesus? Do you exercise temperance on what this world can give?

EYES

What do you you choose to see?

What do you usually watch?

EARS

What do you choose to hear?

Do you gossip often?

SMELL

What do you choose to smell?

What pleasures are you indulging in?

TASTE

Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, what do you choose to eat?

Do you fast and pray?

TOUCH

What do you choose to touch?

The OIL in the lamps signifies your response to God’s call.

How do you spend your time?

Do you put your FAITH into PRACTICE?
